DECEMBER 20: Spiced pumpkin and apple soup for lunch

THE LEMON GROVE CHRISTMAS ADVENT CALENDAR December 20⁣

So what to do with the pumpkins seeds? ⁣

Bake them 20 mins at 180.C with some lemon slices and several pinches of dukkah from @roughwayfarm and a fine drizzle of sesame oil. ⁣

You could leave out the Dukkah until the seeds have cooled, though – it’s going to be toasty treat scattered on top of the heart warming soup.⁣

My thoughts go out to everyone around the world facing tighter Covid-19 lockdowns. Good food is the answer! 😘
