Bruce McMichael is an experienced food and travel writer, photographer and author. His first book Cook Wrap Sell was published by Brightword/enterprisenation.com in 2012.
His second book Called Cook Wrap Export, it’s a guide-book for food producers looking to sell their produce internationally. Available as an eBook.
Bruce created, published and edited two regional, quarterly food magazines Taste Shropshire and Taste Herefordshire covering the vibrant local food scene across the two counties.
He is an active member of the Guild of Food Writers.
Masters graduate in Food Culture, Communication & Marketing from the University of Gastronomic Sciences, Pollenzo, Italy.
TEACHING
Bruce is an experienced educator and lectures on Food & Drink Writing at the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo, Italy.
PUBLIC SPEAKING
A popular and engaging public speaker, Bruce has spoken presented at the University of Gastronomic Sciences, Italy on various topics including a brief history of citrus and lemons. Other speaking engagements include at Heart of England Fine Foods, Country Living (UK) magazine Spring, Christmas fairs.
COOKING DEMOS
British, Italian, French are just some of the cuisines Bruce can demonstrate on stage, highlighting cooking techniques (chopping, mincing, grilling, bbq …). Interaction with the audience is fun part of Bruce’s cooking demos, as he shares tips, stories and recipe ideas.
Previous work has included events with The Daily Telegraph Travel Show, Country Living (UK) magazine Spring & Christmas fairs; Royal Tunbridge Wells Food Festival, Tonbridge Food Festival, and Tonbridge Farmers’ Market.
